Cloud-managed PostgreSQL variants (PolarDB, CockroachDB, etc.) may not return a standard version string, causing: "Failed to obtain server version. Unable to check client-server compatibility." Setting check_compatibility(false) on both writer and reader connections silences this harmless warning. |
